Hastings State Emergency Service

VICSES Hastings Unit - Volunteer Rescue

Hastings SES members are a group of enthusiastic volunteers providing services to members of the southern regions of the Mornington Peninsula 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. Our role includes Storm and Flood response and we are the combating agency for Flood, Storm, Tsunami and Earthquake in the area. We also provide support to other agencies such as Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, CFA and other SES units across the state. When needed we occasionally send teams interstate to assist with major disasters. Our members are dedicated to the role they play in the community and train regularly to maintain their skills and knowledge. We are funded by grants from council and state government, however the majority of our funds come from donations from individuals and organisations. If you are interested in learning more about who we are and what we do, are interested in being a volunteer (we provide the training and you don't have to be active to play a part in our team, there are roles for those who wish to support and not respond), or donate to us please contact us as we would love to hear from you!
